On 23 March 2022 in its spring statement, the UK government announced an increase in National Insurance thresholds affecting the 2022-23 tax year.
The threshold changes will take effect from 6 July 2022, meaning employees will pay National Insurance contributions on less of their income on paycheques recorded on or after this date.
Please ensure your software is up to date by going to your AccountEdge Pro or AccountEdge NE menu and selecting Check For Updates.
AccountEdge 26.1.2.3 or later contains the required 6 July 2022 tax table.
* Check For Updates on all your AccountEdge computers, if installed on multiple computers.
Go to Setup> Payroll Information and check that your Active Tax Table Date is 06/07/2022
If your tax tables are dated earlier than 06/07/2022, then go to Setup> Load Payroll Tax Tables.
Once loaded, check the Payroll Information window again.
