2024 (33.0.6.5) Upgrade

Instructions for existing users of AccountEdge Pro or NE


 Customers upgrading from AccountEdge 2021 or earlier, please click here.  


AccountEdge Pro & NE 2024 (33.0.6.5)

This upgrade is free as part of your annual service agreement.

IMPORTANT

Before upgrading, check the system requirements.


AccountEdge Pro users

To upgrade to AccountEdge Pro 2024 (33.0.6.5):

  1.  Start AccountEdge Pro as normal.
  2.  Use the AccountEdge Pro menu> Check for Updates to download and install the update.
  3.  Perform the update on all compatible computers running AccountEdge Pro.

    4.  This update does not require company files to be upgraded.

 

AccountEdge NE users

To upgrade to AcccountEdge NE 2024 (33.0.6.5):

 Perform the upgrade on your AccountEdge NE host computer first.

  1.  Ensure all users have logged out of all company files before upgrading the host computer.
  2.  On the host computer, start AccountEdge NE as normal.
  3.  Use the AccountEdge NE menu> Check for Updates to download and install the update.
  1.  This update requires a new FileConnect (v27.0.11) for the host computer.
  2.  In the Welcome window, select Company File Maintenance> Download FileConnect. 
  3.  Install FileConnect on the host computer and restart your computer when prompted.

This update does not require company files to be upgraded.

  1.  Once the host computer has been updated, you can now update your workstations.

On each workstation, start AccountEdge NE and use the AccountEdge NE menu> Check for Updates to download and install the update.

FileConnect is not required on workstation computers.
